Dr. Maher earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Sydney in 2018. He has been enhancing smiles ever since.

Treatment Philosophy

Dr. Maher’s treatment philosophy is simple. He sums it up with one phrase: “Treat the cause, not the symptom.” One of his favourite parts of the job is interacting with people and providing them with a positive experience at Parkstone Dental. He firmly believes that patients need to feel included in their dental journey. “I work hand-in-hand with my patients to provide them the dental treatment they need,” he says. Dr. Maher chose a career in dentistry because it involves delicate and intricate work, and it gives him a great sense of accomplishment to help improve patients’ oral health.

Away From The Practice

Dr. Maher loves to read, exercise, and explore local restaurants. When he has time, you can also find him carving hills on his snowboard, hitting targets at the shooting range, and cooking. Dr. Maher is known for his people skills and a good sense of humour. He’s proud to be part of a tight-knit and diverse community.

Dr. Albert began his undergraduate studies at Concordia University College before studying dentistry at the University of Alberta in 2007. There he earned his Bachelor of Medical Sciences and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Albert loves practicing dentistry in Tofield and at our other practice in Sherwood Park. He was born in Tofield when his parents immigrated in the early 1980s and raised in Sherwood Park! This community holds a special place in his heart.

Treatment Philosophy

The most rewarding part of dentistry is bringing a smile to someone’s face and changing the way they view dentistry. “I’ll help you feel as though dentistry isn’t as painful and scary as once perceived,” he says. There’s nothing quite like the feeling that comes with helping patients love their smiles.

Outside The Office

Dr. Albert is married to his high school sweetheart, Christa. They are the proud parents of six beautiful children. When he’s not busy helping people like you discover the benefits of a healthy smile, Dr. Albert enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and playing all sports – though he’s particularly passionate about golf and basketball. He’s a big part of the Tofield community and liked by all.
